Eric Shepherd, a poultry science master’s student from Griffin, Ga., works with Brian Fairchild, associate professor and extension poultry scientist, to research chicken feet and determine why chicken feet, a delicacy in many Asian countries, develop aberrations when compared to healthy chickens raised in similar conditions.

Gymdogs beat Auburn, 197.250-195.925

The Gymdogs competed Saturday against Auburn in Stegeman coliseum in Athens, Ga. and won with a season high. In the photo above, Kathryn Ding competes on the beam.


Palestinian Rally in Atlanta

Sympathizers gathered in Atlanta Saturday to protest the current situation in Gaza. They marched down Peachtree Street from Woodruff Park to the CNN center. Many members from Athens for Justice in Palestine were present.


UGA v LSU, 52-38.

The Georgia Bulldogs make the trip to Baton Rouge, Lousiana to play the LSU Tigers at Tiger Stadium aka Death Valley. The game was full of ups and downs. Georgia linebacker Darryl Gamble was a star with two interception returns for touchdowns, tying the NCAA record for a linebacker.  Geogia won 52-38.
